Patternmaking -
Statement of Attainment
Learn how to make patterns for your designs or gain skills for the industry. This course is 40 weeks that will enable you to seek employment in the Fashion Industry as a Pattern Room junior, assisting the Senior Patternmaker. There are Six modules that incorporate units that explore Flat Patternmaking, Drapery(Moulage) and Grading - all the current methods of Patternmaking. These units will be competency based and are concurrent to the Certificate IV in Clothing Production.

Follow Defined OH&S Policies and Procedures Modify Patterns to Create Basic Styles Develop patterns from a block using basic patternmaking principles Create Pattern to Meet Design Specifications Applying Advanced Pattern Making principles Grade 2D Patterns Drape Fabrics to Make Patterns |
Course Duration:
- Full time: 6hrs x 40 weeks, one day per week
Time: Thursday 9:30am-4:00pm - Part time: 3hrs x 80 weeks, one evening per week
